Multi-Craft Maintenance TechnicianPay Rate: $32.66/hr. up to $38.60/hr.Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time Rotation Patternshift coverage as needed including nights, weekends and possible holidaysPhysical Location: Indianapolis Preprint7536 Miles DriveIndianapolis, IN 46231The Job You Will Perform:Follow all safety rules and practices, working safely by observing safety rules, policies and procedures and identifying unsafe conditions or actions to management immediatelyPerform maintenance functions making repairs such as but not limited to electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, HVAC under minimal guidance of the maintenance supervisor.Troubleshoot and perform maintenance duties such as but not limited to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing, HVAC repairsAccurately reading gauges and other test equipmentUtilizing basic shop math, inspectingRespond to and complete work orders in a timely mannerSupport installation of new equipment and facilities improvementsMaintain compliance with company quality systems and support auditsThis person will also be assigned to clean-up functions as needed such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap.The Skills You Will Bring:2 years of related mechanical experience working in an industrial manufacturing production environmentMechanical Journeyman or Technical/Vocation Certificate preferredExperience/knowledge in the following areas: Electrical circuit troubleshooting, plumbing, pneumatics, mobile equipment, Mig weldingAbility to adapt to change, problem solve and prioritize workAbility to bend, squat and kneel, and climb frequentlyAbility to stand for periods of a minimum of 3 hoursAbility to work with minimum supervisionAbility to work varied hours/daysAbility to lift average weighted materials, 50 lbs up to 70 lbs occasionallyEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to read and interpret blue prints mechanical and electrical schematics, piping diagrams, in orthographic, isometric, and sketch-viewsReading factory ordersAction oriented, Customer/Quality FocusedPriority Setting
