Licensed Master Social Worker

Duties:

• Conduct psychosocial assessments,
• provide supportive therapy to Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department patients,
• collaborate with interdisciplinary teams,
• maintain accurate documentation,
• and support patients and families through crisis situations.

Skills:

• Minimum one (1) year of LMSW experience.
• Active NYSED Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license.
• Experience conducting psychosocial assessments and providing supportive therapy in a clinical setting.

• Emergency Department or acute care experience. (Mandate)
• Experience working with both adult and pediatric populations.
• Strong crisis intervention and communication skills
• Someone that brings in acute-care experience and can multitask, Strong organizational and inter personal skills
• Bilingual is a plus

Education:

• Master's Degree in Social Work.
• Active NYSED Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).

• Primary Source Verification of NYSED License.

Shift:

• Monday: 3:00 PM 12:00 AM (8 hours per day)
• Thursday, Friday & Saturday: 2:00 PM 12:00 AM (9 hours per day)

• Includes weekends and holidays. (35 hours a week)
