CNC Saw Operator

Atlas Fibre is hiring a CNC Saw Setup & Operator to cut high-performance plastics and composite materials. We are looking for someone who can independently set up and operate CNC or industrial saws while maintaining accurate dimensions and material quality.What You’ll DoSet up and operate CNC and industrial sawsSelect and install the correct blades, tooling, and fixturesEnter or adjust machine settings for each jobRead blueprints, work orders, and cut specificationsVerify material type, dimensions, and quantitiesInspect finished pieces using calipers, micrometers, and tape measuresAdjust the machine to maintain accurate cuts and tolerancesReplace blades and complete routine machine checksSafely move sheets, rods, tubes, and other materialsComplete production paperwork and maintain an organized work areaWhat We’re Looking ForExperience setting up and operating CNC or industrial sawsAbility to read blueprints and cut specificationsExperience using measuring instrumentsStrong mechanical ability and attention to detailAbility to lift up to 50 poundsReliable attendance and a safety-focused approachExperience cutting plastics, composites, laminates, metal, or similar materials is preferred.BenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and paid holidays401(k)Training and advancement opportunitiesStable, full-time manufacturing workLocation: 3411 Woodhead Drive, Northbrook, IL 60062 #J-18808-Ljbffr
