Arterial Vascular/Vascular Surgery OR Nights and Weekends M81 Short Stay OR Peds Surgery OR Neuro Institute OR Cardiac OR Plastic OR General or OR Colorectal A caregiver in this role will work a day/night rotation from 7am - 7:30pm OR 7pm - 7:30am. Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care in an operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures. Perform scrub and circulating functions. Prepare the OR, surgical instruments and equipment for use. Minimum Qualifications Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) One year of RN experience OR completion of Cleveland Clinic’s Perioperative Residency Program Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) within six months of hire Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) Physical Requirements Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Medium Work – Exerts 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 25 pounds and capability to push, pull, and navigate supply carts weighing > 75 pounds periodically. Personal Protective Equipment Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures. Pay Range Minimum hourly: $33.50 Maximum hourly: $53.60 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
