Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as part of a float pool, rotating across medical, surgical, oncology, neuro, renal, and cardiology units based on facility needs
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:5-6 on days and weekends and 1:6 on nights
• Call in to a recorded line up to 1 hour before scheduled shift start time to receive unit assignment when not pre-assigned to a specific unit
• Utilize EPIC for all clinical documentation and charting
• Operate lift devices (including ceiling lifts) and bladder scanners; training provided on lift devices
• Fulfill every-other-weekend commitment (Saturday/Sunday) or a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule, plus holiday rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Missouri or a compact license matching permanent residence; Missouri license may be submitted pending at time of submittal (Illinois license must be in hand at time of submittal)
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
• BCLS and ACLS certifications required
• IV start competency and Telemetry certification required
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Requested time off must be finalized at time of submission; no additional RTO requests accepted post-submission, post-offer, or post-start. No RTO permitted during the first week of assignment. Maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract (requests exceeding 7 days require manager approval)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with EPIC electronic health records strongly preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHS) certification preferred
• Experience floating across multiple inpatient medical units
