Contract | Nights | 4×12-Hour Shifts (19:00-07:30) | Options for 36 or 48 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care/Stepdown unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2-3 across all shifts
• Perform and manage ventilator management alongside Respiratory Therapy, including long-term vent care, weaning, and pulmonary rehab
• Manage tracheostomy care , telemetry monitoring, and interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Perform or assist with procedures including IV starts, phlebotomy, port access, central line care, and preferred ABG draws
• Float within service line as needed, including to Medical-Surgical units, to meet facility staffing needs
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records

• Active RN license in Missouri or a qualifying compact state (pending Missouri license may be accepted at time of submittal; Illinois license must be in hand at time of submittal)
• BCLS (BLS) certification required
• ACLS certification required by compliance document deadline
• Minimum 1 year of PCU/Progressive Care experience required
• Must pass Relias EKG exam prior to start; demonstrated ability in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required
• Must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible - local candidates are not accepted

• BSN preferred
• Experience with ABG draws
• Background in a teaching or Level I Trauma facility environment
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
