Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in Employment Law in Los Angeles, CA. The firm is dedicated to advocating for employees facing wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage‑and‑hour disputes. This role offers the opportunity for courtroom experience and impactful work. Duties Take and defend depositions. Appear at hearings, conferences, and other court proceedings. Manage all phases of written discovery, including propounding, responding, and drafting objections. Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and correspondence. Develop case strategy and manage matters through litigation. Maintain direct client contact and support trial preparation alongside the managing attorney. Requirements Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Working knowledge of California civil procedure. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and dependable. Strong interpersonal skills and sound professional judgment. Commitment to advocating for employees in the community. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications California Bar license or awaiting results. Skills Legal research and writing. Analytical and strategic thinking. Interpersonal communication.
