The Opportunity: Join our mission-focused team supporting the Army Deputy Chief of Staff, G-6, within the Network Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) Services Integration Directorate. In this role, you will directly support the Services Division (DANI-NSU) in optimizing Army-wide IT software investments and Enterprise License Agreements (ELAs). As part of this critical mission, you will assist government leads in managing daily license requirements, analyzing software utilization trends across Army commands, evaluating procurement demands, and drafting decision-support materials that drive enterprise cost avoidance. This position offers a direct opportunity to support staff work, analysis, and research corresponding to the senior leaders of the Army, directly influencing how the Army procures, manages, and maximizes commercial software capabilities. Responsibilities:

Requirements Management: Monitor software consumption and license utilization rates across Army organizations; maintain centralized requirements tracking ledgers and historical requirements logs. Command Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise directly with Army commands and support agencies to collect, compile, deconflict, and correlate submitted software license requirements. Requirements Validation & Memos: Evaluate submitted software demands against existing Enterprise License Agreements (ELAs) and contracts; draft formal requirements memorandums to support Government contract management decisions. Decision Analytics & Briefings: Synthesize complex software consumption metrics into concise briefings, cost-avoidance courses of action (COAs), and executive decision papers for leadership. Tasking & Compliance Support: Assist with enterprise data calls and tasking workflow actions; verify that all recommendations and deliverables comply with applicable Federal, DoD, and Army rules and regulations (including FAR/DFARS). Senior Staff Support: Develop high-quality, professional written and oral work products tailored for coordination and senior leader decision-making. Qualifications: Required: Clearance: Active DoD Secret security clearance. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Acquisition, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent operational military/civilian experience). Army Experience: Demonstrated Army-specific experience working within or directly supporting U.S. Army commands, staff, or operational environments. Senior Staff Support: Experience developing and coordinating staffing packets, formal memorandums, executive summaries, or decision briefings intended for senior leaders. Core Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in IT asset management, software licensing analysis, IT requirements validation, or federal IT program analysis. Data Analysis: Demonstrated ability to analyze, research, and correlate complex spreadsheet data (e.g., consumption counts, deployment metrics, user seats) to identify utilization patterns and cost-saving opportunities. Licensing Knowledge: Familiarity with standard commercial software licensing constructs (e.g., subscription, capacity-based, perpetual, enterprise agreements).

Desired: Prior experience supporting Army Staff (HQDA), Service Headquarters, Joint Staff, or Defense Agency operations. Practical exposure to Army tasking tracking tools (e.g., ETMS2, TMT, CATMS) and IT procurement vehicles (e.g., Army CHESS). Professional Certifications: Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM), Certified Software Manager (CSM), ITIL Foundation, or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) coursework in Contracting or Program Management. Working familiarity with major enterprise software publishers commonly utilized across the DoD (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle, VMware, Adobe). -

: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
