Details Work in a hospital Emergency Department offering a full spectrum of emergency care Includes a separate Chest Pain Center Night shift schedule (7a-7p) 13-week assignment length May be required to work charge nurse and preceptor roles if needed Requirements Active RN license (Maine or compact) currently in hand Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required Minimum 1 year of critical care nursing experience required Must not have any actions or hits on license or background Additional Information Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process across all areas of the unit Assess patients on admission and throughout their stay Administer IV medications, therapy, and blood products as needed Provide patient education and document nursing care actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses Previous employees of this facility are not eligible to apply Local candidates will be considered at a reduced local rate American Traveler Job ID P-744179.
