Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Lewiston, Maine. This emergency nursing role involves providing direct patient care in a busy emergency setting. The RN will assess, administer treatments, educate patients, and document care actions within a full-spectrum emergency department, including a dedicated Chest Pain Center. Job Details Shift Time: Nights Shift Hours: 12 hours Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours Required Qualifications: Valid licensure (must not be a previous employee of the facility), BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications, at least 2 years of experience in the emergency department setting, 1 year of critical care nursing experience, and residency outside a 50-mile radius of the facility. Must be willing and able to work charge nurse and preceptor roles if needed. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, providing comprehensive emergency care. Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered. Additional information: Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid. The healthcare provider retains the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
