AvMC is the Army's focal point for providing research, development and engineering technology and services for aviation and missile platforms across the life cycle. We are seeking a Project Manager to lead enterprise IT projects for AvMC. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with budgets and timelines.Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologiesAbility to read and interpret project documents to include charters, budgets, timelines, and technical drawingsProven track record of managing multiple concurrent projects with varying scopes, timelines, and levels of complexity while maintaining quality, accuracy, and timely deliveryDemonstrated skill in cross-team coordination, stakeholder communication, and updating and briefing executive management and upper leadership on project statusAbility to identify and manage project risks and drive effective solutions while adhering to scope, budget, and scheduleEffective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to schedule meetings and brief technical and non-technical stakeholdersResponsible for leading all phases of assigned enterprise IT projects, serving as the single point of contact from concept through final implementationThis role defines project scope, develops detailed work plans and schedules, and ensures alignment with quality standards, budgets, and approved timelinesConduct project meetings, track progress, manage vendor deliverables, and perform thorough risk analysis and mitigationLead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects to meet defined scope, schedule, and budgetGather, document, and validate business and technical requirements from stakeholdersDevelop and manage project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategiesFacilitate regular project meetings, track action items, and provide clear status updates to leadershipIdentify, assess, and resolve project risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact deliveryEnsure adherence to organizational IT standards, governance processes, and quality expectationsManage change control processes and evaluate impacts of scope, timeline, or cost adjustmentsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fieldGreat communication and organizational skillsThree (3) years of prior experience in a similar roleDoD 8570 Level II/III certification desiredActive Security Clearance RequiredIPTA is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
