Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring production equipment and facility systems operate efficiently and safely. This includes performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting machinery, and responding to equipment breakdowns in a food-grade manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on production equipment, conveyors, mixers, and pumps
- Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections in accordance with PM schedules
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues
- Maintain clean and safe work areas in compliance with food safety and OSHA standards
- Document maintenance activity using logs or CMMS systems
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to minimize downtime
- 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with food manufacturing equipment (preferred)
- Familiarity with GMPs, HACCP, and Lockout/Tagout procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in hot/cold environments
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
