Core Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: $142,000 - 194,000 per year Requirements:

• We require 4 years of software development experience, or a B.Tech degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline, or a bachelors degree in one of those fields.
• Preferred qualifications include 5 years of software development experience, or a B.Tech degree in one of the listed fields plus 1 year of software development experience, or a bachelors degree in one of the listed fields plus 1 year of software development experience.

• We support the implementation and testing of distributed system components with close supervision.
• We help design and apply scalability, fault tolerance, and recovery-oriented principles for assigned components.
• We assist with performance and load testing, telemetry, dashboards, and alerting to monitor system health.
• We implement scoped features and test scenarios within existing systems, including fault-injection and brown-out testing, as guided.
• We follow operational procedures to diagnose issues, run basic automation tools, and contribute to incident response and root cause analysis.
• We participate in support rotations and help escalate complex problems to senior engineers.
• We assist with compliance, security remediation, documentation updates, and change management activities.
• We complete assigned work on schedule, collaborate with teammates, and continue building our skills through training and feedback.
• We look for opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our processes and workflows.
