Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We're seeking a dedicated special education professional to take on an essential skills elementary classroom from June 1 to June 25. This rewarding contract opportunity offers a focused, supportive environment where your expertise will be valued and your impact, immediate.

What We're Looking For:

Valid Missouri Special Education Teacher certification
Previous experience as a SPED teacher, especially with essential skills or ESY programs
Ability to quickly connect with elementary-age students and foster a positive, inclusive classroom
Strong communication and organization skills

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored instruction in an essential skills elementary classroom
Develop and implement individualized lesson plans aligned with IEP goals
Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families for student success
Maintain accurate records and progress reports throughout the ESY term
Cultivate a nurturing, structured, and engaging learning environment
