A contract opportunity for a skilled Special Education Teacher is available from June 1 through June 25, specializing in Extended School Year (ESY) services. This role focuses on one elementary essential skills class and offers a rewarding way to impact young learners in a supportive school environment.

What we’re looking for:

• Current Special Education Teacher certification in Missouri
• Previous experience working with special education caseloads, preferably elementary-level essential skills or comparable settings
• Ability to foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Dedication to creating accessible and individualized learning plans

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing direct instruction and individualized support to students in an elementary essential skills ESY program
• Developing and implementing lesson plans tailored to IEP goals
• Collaborating with fellow educators, staff, and families to ensure students’ needs are met
• Maintaining accurate records of student progress and goals
• Participating in relevant meetings and contributing to a positive school culture
