Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding short-term assignment supporting elementary students in an Extended School Year (ESY) program. This contract role is focused on delivering specialized education to students with essential skills needs. You’ll work in a collaborative, engaging environment dedicated to fostering growth and development for every learner.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification in Missouri
• Proven experience in a Special Education setting, preferably at the elementary level
• Ability to cultivate inclusive classroom environments and adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Professional dedication to supporting diverse learners

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to elementary students within the ESY program
• Deliver differentiated lessons aligned with IEP goals and state standards
• Track and document student progress, preparing concise reports as needed
• Collaborate with related service providers, paraprofessionals, and families
• Foster a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere
• Maintain compliance with ESY program guidelines and district policies

Assignment Details:

• Contract position running June 1 through June 25
• Working hours: 25 hours per week, Monday through Thursday
• One opening, with the opportunity to significantly impact students during the summer session
