Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

You’ll be supporting students with essential skills needs and providing individualized instructional support that will truly make a difference. The assignment runs from June 1 through June 25, Monday through Thursday, for a total of 25 hours each week—giving you an ideal balance of professional fulfillment and personal time.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification in Missouri is required
• Previous experience in special education settings, especially with elementary-level essential skills students, is strongly preferred
• Effective classroom management and communication abilities
• Collaborative mindset and adaptability for working closely with staff, families, and students
• Strong organizational and planning skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver and adapt curriculum to meet the educational needs of ESY students
• Develop and implement individualized instructional strategies
• Provide supportive, engaging learning experiences focused on essential skills development
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting on student progress
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and the educational team
