About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Talent Acquisition to lead the strategic development of a robust talent function. This executive-level role is pivotal in designing and implementing a comprehensive talent operating model, including sourcing strategy, interview architecture, and technology stack. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating proprietary channels to source and develop talent, particularly for skilled trades and seasonal workforces. They will also be tasked with establishing clear metrics for talent performance and leading workforce and succession planning. The role demands a leader with a genuine builder's mentality, capable of driving transformational change and operating both strategically and hands-on as needed. Candidates for the VP of Talent Acquisition position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in talent leadership, with a proven track record in high-growth or acquisitive environments. The ideal candidate will have previously held a senior talent leadership role within a similar business and possess expertise across the full talent lifecycle. Experience in workforce planning and a strong understanding of labor and employment law relevant to skilled trades are highly valued. The role requires a leader with a strong executive presence, capable of influencing at all levels, and a focus on developing and elevating the existing team. The company is particularly interested in candidates with a background in integrating talent functions through acquisitions and a demonstrated ability to shape and reinforce company culture.
