Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough patient intakes, focusing on diagnostic assessments and functional evaluations to establish treatment goals.

• Provide therapeutic interventions that address mental health and psychosocial issues, guiding clients towards improved well-being.

• Collaborate with primary care providers to integrate behavioral health into the overall treatment plans for clients.

• Monitor patient progress, initiate follow-ups to assess treatment effectiveness, and adjust plans as necessary.

• Develop relapse prevention strategies aimed at helping patients maintain stable functioning in their daily lives.

• Document all patient information, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with established guidelines.

• Facilitate connections with other health service providers when appropriate, ensuring continuity of care.

• Provide training and consultation to clinic management and ancillary staff regarding the delivery of behavioral services.

• Assist clients in understanding and adhering to medical treatments prescribed by primary care providers, including coping strategies for medication side effects.

• Uphold the highest ethical standards in all interactions with patients and team members, adhering to the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a valid LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license to practice in the state of Texas.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a community health clinic or similar healthcare environment.

• Training or experience in specific therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or family therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 87,000 to USD 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
