Job OverviewA law firm seeks an entry-level corporate associate to join its General Corporate practice in Santa Monica, CA. The associate will engage in a variety of corporate matters, including startup and venture capital representation, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets work. Duties Assist in representing startups and venture capital clients. Participate in mergers and acquisitions transactions. Engage in capital markets and public company work. Support niche corporate practice areas. Requirements Superior academic credentials. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills. Prior experience in a corporate or transactional practice is a plus. Eligibility Eligibility to sit for the bar exam in the relevant jurisdiction. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications Bar exam eligibility or completion required. Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
