Principal Engineer

Responsibilities Defining, implementing and/or maintaining R&D strategy, guidelines, systems and services for VISHAY Aligning and ensuring implementation of R&D budgets, monitoring R&D programs, and allocating resources Planning and coordinating, and/or implementing R&D projects and processes (e.g., technology research projects, product development programs) Leading identification and consolidation of R&D projects in line with technological trends and development plans Coordinating research, development, and pre‑industrialization of products Representing VISHAY's R&D competence externally towards customers, partners, and other relevant stakeholders Driving agreed scientific or technological agenda and programs to confirm VISHAY technical leadership in the market Initiating and leading elaboration, testing and verification of groundbreaking concepts that pave the way for potentially disruptive products Adopting, improving, and changing existing ways, approaches and methodologies to match unique requirements Building and acting as a recognized thought leader in a cross‑functional network of experts and institutes Representing the organization's development competence in a specific scientific or technical area, and counseling accountable management accordingly #J-18808-Ljbffr Vishay Intertechnology, Inc.
