Are you a dedicated and passionate Registered Nurse (RN) with a special interest in Medical Surgical (Med Surg)? We are looking for an exceptional RN to join our team in the Patient Care Unit (PCU). This is a permanent, full-time position where you will provide direct patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. Our facility is equipped with advanced medical technology and we are committed to providing the highest level of care to our patients. We are keen to welcome a team player who can work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while maintaining a calm demeanor and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent RN Med Surg / PCU, you will be responsible for:

1. Providing direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
2. Conducting initial and ongoing patient assessments, developing a detailed care plan for each patient.
3. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
4. Monitoring, recording, and reporting changes in patient's conditions and responses to treatments to the healthcare team.
5. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care is provided to the patients.
6. Educating patients and families about the disease process, medical-surgical procedures, and other aspects of therapeutic regimens, including medication and pain management techniques

Requirements:
Active RN Licensure (in any State)
At least 6 months of RN experience
BLS Certification
