Corporate Development Associate

Blacklock Group are partnered with a renewable power generation platform who are looking to add a corporate development associate to their growing team. The team is focused on wind and solar. Responsibilities Work with senior team members to identify and evaluate potential acquisition and project financing opportunities. Develop and manage complex financial models and valuation analyses. Participate in all aspects of due diligence activities, including coordinating with operational, commercial and legal teams and advisors to validate assumptions. Work closely with financing counterparties including lenders and tax equity investors to support diligence activities, transaction structuring and legal document preparation. Assist with the preparation of investment memoranda and presentations for executive management and the Board of Directors. Conduct research and analysis to screen and qualify potential M&A opportunities. Assist with the development of broader strategic initiatives and investment strategies. Requirements Preferred Background 1-3 years of investment banking, private equity, corporate development, corporate finance or management consulting experience. Prior experience with M&A transactions strongly preferred. BA/BS from a top university in Finance/Economics/Business/Accounting, or a similarly quantitative/analytical field. Experience in energy, infrastructure or commercial real estate is strongly preferred, but not required. #J-18808-Ljbffr Blacklock Group
