Accountant

Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly VAT and other periodic tax returns using provided templates
- Book supplier invoices (Accounts Payable) and archive supporting documentation in SAP
- Schedule and prioritize payments based on instructions (e.g., via email)
- Enter and initiate payments in online banking systems and record transactions afterward
- Support monthly closing activities, including preparation of selected general ledger (GL) journal entries
- Calculate payroll using internal payroll software (NEXON)
- Support audit processes and annual financial reporting as required
- Handle ad-hoc accounting tasks during the transition period
Requirements
- Proven experience with SAP (AP invoice booking, bank postings)
- Experience with NEXON payroll software is a strong advantage
- Ability to work onsite in Budapest
- Fluent English communication skills
