Overview Mastercard Security Solutions Organisation (SSO) is responsible for safeguarding trust in payments today while building the security capabilities of the future. Within this organization, the Identity Solutions team in Europe is seeking an experienced Senior Specialist, Identity Verification, to support the development of Mastercard’s identity verification strategy across Europe & UKI and drive adoption of its identity verification products and solutions. Mastercard’s identity capabilities leverage network intelligence, AI, behavioral analytics, and real-time transaction data to make smarter trust decisions across digital interactions and payments. By analyzing signals such as device behavior, transaction history, identity attributes, merchant patterns, geolocation, and network-level insights, Mastercard helps assess risk more accurately and determine whether a transaction or user interaction is legitimate. This is a unique opportunity to help shape innovative identity verification solutions that protect millions of consumers and businesses across Europe & UKI. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, analytical, and entrepreneurial, with a passion for solving complex identity and fraud challenges in the evolving digital payments ecosystem. In this position, you will be responsible for:- Product Strategy & Vision: Support the development of building and executing the regional identity verification product strategy .
- Roadmap Development: Partners with market-facing teams to gather customer feedback in the region and support the development of product roadmap as well as delivery of product features.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Be the intermediary between global product development and local teams in Europe in product to shape a global proposition to European needs.
- Go-to-Market Execution: Define and support a go-to-market plan for Identity verification products in alignment with regional stakeholders
- Data Analytics : Adapt in analysing data to identify new product/ pricing/ GTM ideas
- Performance Tracking: Establish reporting of identity verification product suit KPIs to regional and global teams and help in ensuring that established sales revenue targets are met
- Identify and execute on new synergy and market growth opportunities within existing Mastercard products & services (e.g.: C2P, BNPL, Digital First…).
- Experience as a Product Manager in consumer or business identity, cybersecurity, authentication, or regulatory technology.
- Experience in managing product roadmaps, from concept to launch.
- Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable product features.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience working in an agile development environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., ideally Computer Science, Business, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics)
