Immediate opening for a Customer Service Representative in Redlands, CA who possesses:

• 1 to 2 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced distribution, transportation, or manufacturing environment
• Strong Excel, ERP, data entry, and computer skills
• Ability to handle a high volume of inbound customer calls with professionalism
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional email correspondence
• Ability to pass required Excel, 10-key, and data entry assessments

 

 

FULL DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to support order processing, customer communication, documentation, freight coordination, and issue resolution in a fast-paced distribution environment. This temp-to-hire role is responsible for processing customer orders, handling inbound calls, maintaining customer records, coordinating freight and shipping logistics, researching order discrepancies, and providing professional customer service. The ideal candidate will have customer service experience in a distribution, transportation, or manufacturing environment, strong Excel and ERP skills, excellent data entry accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

 

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Handling a high volume of inbound customer calls with professionalism
• Providing outstanding customer service by identifying customer needs and resolving issues
• Maintaining accurate customer records and documentation
• Coordinating and assisting with freight and shipping logistics
• Researching and resolving order discrepancies
• Working collaboratively with the customer service team to ensure a positive customer experience
• Maintaining confidentiality of customer and company information
• Using Excel, ERP systems, email, and data entry tools throughout the workday
• Communicating professionally with customers and internal team members
• Supporting a fast-paced customer service and distribution environment
• Performing other duties as assigned

 

The selected candidate will also possess:

• 1 to 2 years of customer service experience required
• Experience in a fast-paced distribution, transportation, or manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong Excel experience required
• ERP experience required
• Strong data entry skills required
• Ability to handle high-volume inbound customer calls required
• Professional phone etiquette required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Professional email correspondence skills required
• Strong organizational and time management skills required
• Self-motivated work style required
• Ability to work independently required
• Detail-oriented problem-solving skills required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment required
• Ability to complete required Excel, 10-key, and data entry assessments
• Ability to complete required background check and drug test
• Ability to work onsite in Redlands, CA
• Ability to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:40 PM
• Ability to support a temp-to-hire opportunity

 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods while processing orders, entering data, reviewing customer records, using Excel, and working in ERP systems
• Ability to communicate by phone, email, and in person throughout the workday
• Ability to review customer orders, freight details, shipping information, records, documentation, and computer screens for extended periods
• Ability to use hands and fingers for typing, data entry, phone use, documentation, and standard office tasks
• Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout office or distribution areas as needed
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move standard office files, documents, supplies, or small materials
• Ability to maintain professionalism, accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail while supporting customers and internal teams

 

Salary Range: $19/hour
