What You Will Do

The Turbine Airfoil Castings value stream works closely with suppliers to ensure we deliver affordable, high-quality parts that meet our customer's dynamic needs. Our team fosters an internal environment that flourishes with utilization of the RTX operating system, while maintaining supplier relationships to ensure they meet our quality and performance standards.

The Turbine Airfoil Castings value stream has an immediate opening for a high-energy, analytical, and motivated Procurement Specialist. The Procurement Specialist also requires the cross functional interaction with Regional Office personnel such as Delivery Assurance Specialists, Supplier Quality Assurance Representatives (SQAR's), MCL, ESA, Continuous Improvement Specialists, & the GWS "Buyers & Planners" providing procurement & materials management for the commodities.

• Ensure GWS's quotation, cost analysis/price justification, market share appropriations, & placement of schedule agreements are completed on-time & in compliance with all appropriate regulations & procedures.
• Responsible for all aspects of supplier relationships, including delivery, quality, and cost, inventory, and customer happiness.
• Lead purchase order execution and product delivery, ensuring placement of on-time schedule agreements, billing adjustments, terminations mitigation & cost reduction goals execution.
• Align with the P&W Procurement Manual, GSC Standard Work, and UTC Code of Ethics, International Trade Compliance, & Transition Standard Work (TSW).
• Engage with the relevant Strategic Sourcing team and participate in long-term sourcing decisions.
• Travel required 10-20%

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Manufacturing, Business, Supply Chain or related field and 5 years of Operations, Planning, Supply Chain, Business or related experience; or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience
• Experience using SAP
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
