Housing Program Specialist The Housing Program Specialist is a professional-level position that is responsible for advancing housing initiatives, community outreach and engagement, poverty reduction efforts, economic development, and process improvement. They support the development and monitoring of budgets while also working to develop and implement policies and procedures. Additionally, they participate in obtaining ongoing funding and grants to support local housing needs. This position involves collecting and reporting data, and maintaining monitoring systems to ensure the adequacy, quality, and timeliness of program services. This position will participate in continuous quality improvement and quality management activities; and participate in various community collaborations and administrative responsibilities for housing counseling services.
