Guidewire Policy Center Developer
We are seeking a Guidewire Policy Center Developer with expertise in Commercial Lines to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Guidewire Policy Center configuration and integration, along with a deep understanding of commercial insurance products such as General Liability, Workers' Compensation, Commercial Auto, Property, and Umbrella Insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement solutions within Guidewire Policy Center for Commercial Lines products.
- Configure and customize Policy Center using Gosu scripting, Guidewire Studio, and PCF configurations.
- Develop integrations between Guidewire applications and external systems using SOAP/REST APIs, Message Queues, and Batch Processing.
- Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Policy Center workflows, data model, and UI components.
- Optimize performance and scalability of the Policy Center application.
- Ensure compliance with best practices and coding standards in Guidewire development.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- 12+ years of IT experience
- 3+ years of experience working with Guidewire Policy Center (PC)
- Strong knowledge of Commercial Lines insurance products and workflows
- Hands-on experience with GOSU scripting, Guidewire Studio, PCF configuration, and data model customization
- Experience in Guidewire integrations (GOSU, Java, REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services, Messaging, Batch Processing)
- Proficiency in SQL, XML, JSON, and database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
- Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, etc.)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Guidewire Certification in Policy Center
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
