As Associate Dean of Parents, you will be the primary point of contact for families when they feel uncertain or need guidance. You will know each family well enough to anticipate their needs before they speak, and you will respond with discretion, warmth, and visible presence. Trust is built through daily, unhurried presence at morning drop-off, afternoon pick-up, evening events, and in spontaneous one‑on‑one conversations. You will build a campus community that families feel protective of, where belonging feels effortless and referrals flow naturally from that experience. What You Will Be Doing Own the relationship with every family on campus, deepening trust over time. Anticipate concerns before they become conversations and resolve them with discretion and social fluency. Be visibly present at morning drop‑off (7–9 am), afternoon pick‑up (2–4 pm), evening parent events, and occasional weekend activities. Build a campus community with genuine texture—events, traditions, and touchpoints that reinforce belonging. Cultivate parent advocates organically, creating consistently excellent experiences so referrals are a natural outcome. Maintain ongoing dialogue about Alpha’s AI‑powered model, addressing screen‑time concerns, skeptical extended family, and moments of doubt throughout enrolment and beyond. Recognize when a family is not the right fit and handle that with grace, protecting the community. Develop the systems and rhythms this role requires while the playbook is still being written. What You Will NOT Be Doing Managing enrollment—this belongs to Admissions. Sitting behind a desk; you are community‑focused. Working predictable 9–5 hours; early mornings, late afternoons, and evenings are core of the role. Waiting for administrative support or established processes; you operate autonomously and build what you need. Treating family relationships as accounts to manage; the role rewards genuine connection over process compliance. Candidate Requirements Currently reside within commuting distance of one of the listed campuses or willing to relocate within 60 days (preference for candidates with existing community roots). Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. 5+ years in a relationship role serving high‑net‑worth or ultra‑high‑net‑worth families—private school admissions, luxury hospitality, philanthropy, or any environment demanding discretion, warmth, and social fluency. Demonstrated ability to hold relationships through difficult moments with sophisticated families, emerging with trust intact. Natural presence and communication style that earns confidence quickly with affluent, high‑expectation families. Personal familiarity with independent, private, or non‑traditional education—professionally or as a parent. Genuine belief in AI‑powered education and the ability to convey that conviction authentically. Availability for flexible hours: early mornings (7–9 am), late afternoons (2–4 pm), evening events 2–3 x/month, and occasional weekend activities. Nice to Have Existing relationships within the local affluent community for immediate foothold on campus. Private or independent school experience with a track record of family retention and community depth. Experience navigating high‑stakes family relationships where judgement and discretion preserved trust. An instinct for creating experiences—events, moments, environments—where people feel they belong to something worth protecting.
