Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate the mental health and needs of patients, utilizing your education and experience to ensure accurate and sensitive evaluations.

• Collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans that address the specific challenges and goals of each patient, ensuring they feel heard and supported in their journey toward recovery.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions including solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and problem-solving therapy to facilitate positive behavioral changes.

• Engage actively with a multidisciplinary team, including primary care practitioners and other healthcare specialists, to coordinate integrated care and promote holistic treatment approaches.

• Regularly assess and monitor patient responses to therapy both in person and via remote consultations, ensuring consistent progress toward treatment goals.

• Assist medical professionals in managing psychotropic medications, paying close attention to treatment adherence, side effects, and overall treatment efficacy.

• Document client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes thoroughly and in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily involves working with individuals in need of mental health support within a detoxification context. You will facilitate therapeutic relationships with patients facing substance use challenges, emotional disturbances, or other psychological health issues. Your expertise will help empower patients to navigate their recovery and foster resilience against future challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required to ensure a strong foundation in clinical practices.

• A current, valid, and unrestricted License to practice independently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.

• Minimum of 1 year experience as an independently licensed therapist, demonstrating competency in therapeutic settings.
