Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour
Shift: Overnight / Full-Time
Location: Catskill, NY

The Eliot at Catskill is seeking a dependable, professional, and compassionate Overnight Receptionist to join our team. This position serves as an important point of contact during overnight hours and helps maintain a safe, welcoming, and organized environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

The ideal candidate is reliable, calm under pressure, comfortable working independently, and committed to providing excellent customer service.

• Staff the front desk throughout the overnight shift and provide a professional, welcoming presence.

• Greet and assist residents, visitors, vendors, and employees as needed.

• Answer incoming telephone calls and direct calls or messages appropriately.

• Monitor individuals entering and leaving the building in accordance with facility procedures.

• Maintain visitor logs, sign-in/sign-out records, and other required front-desk documentation.

• Respond appropriately to resident requests and contact the appropriate staff member when assistance is needed.

• Communicate urgent concerns or unusual activity to supervisors or designated staff.

• Assist with basic clerical duties, filing, documentation, and other administrative tasks during the overnight shift.

• Complete overnight reports and communicate important information to the incoming shift.

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling resident and facility information.

• Follow all facility safety, emergency, and security procedures.

• Keep the reception and front-desk area clean, organized, and professional.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Previous receptionist, front-desk, customer service, healthcare, residential facility, or security experience is a plus.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic computer and telephone skills.

• Ability to maintain accurate written records.

• Ability to remain professional and composed during emergencies or challenging situations.

• Must be dependable and able to work independently with limited supervision.

• Must be able to work overnight hours, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

$16.00–$18.00 per hour , based on experience and qualifications.
