Co-Op Student - Human Factors Engineering

About the Role General Dynamics Land Systems Co-op Program is hiring for rotations starting winter (January 2026). The engineering co-op will perform various responsibilities depending on the organization in which they are placed. This role will begin in the Integrated Systems: Human Factor Engineering. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine‑hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off). Responsibilities to Anticipate for this Rotation Write requirements and perform verification/testing to cover human factors engineering. Learn human factors engineering practices and methods. May have opportunity to create a human model using Jack software. Qualifications Sought Pursuing a bachelor's degree majoring in either Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or Human Factors Engineering. Must currently be a full‑time student at an accredited university/college. Seeking Junior level class standing or higher. Preferred - GPA of 3.0 or higher. Must successfully pass standard pre‑employment screens and must provide an official university transcript before their first day of employment. Must be able to rotate on/off every other semester (full‑time work / school rotation). Additional Information / Desired Experience This position may require eligibility to obtain a US security clearance. (Non‑US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance).
