Job Full Description

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Paint Department Team Member for a local manufacturing company looking to add reliable talent to their production team. This role supports daily paint-line operations and plays a key part in preparing, finishing, and packaging hydraulic cylinders for shipment.

Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Payrate: $21/hr

Key Responsibilities

Prep cylinders for painting, mix primer/paint, and clean finished cylinders
Remove freshly painted cylinders from the paint line and place them into bags or containers per customer specifications
Package completed cylinders, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure placement
Cut wood stock using a circular saw to create supports for pallets and shipments
Secure products using shrink wrap, wood bracing, and metal banding
Apply shipping labels and verify accuracy against paperwork
Move packaged materials using a pallet jack to staging or loading areas
Load finished products onto trucks for shipment
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Experience with paint or paint-line operations is a plus
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Basic shop math skills
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
