Hospitalist Physician

A growing community hospital in Dublin, Georgia, isseeking an experienced Locums Hospitalist Physician for a nocturnist position.This is an on-site role requiring strong hospital medicine and critical careskills in an open ICU model.

Schedule & Coverage

Nocturnist coverage: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

On-site coverage, including nights andweekends

No off-site call

Ongoing need with an immediate start

Responsibilities

Provide overnight hospitalist coverage andmanage inpatient admissions.

Manage ICU admissions and provide criticalcare rounding for up to 8 CCU patients.

Independently assess and resuscitatecritically ill patients before additional support arrives.

Participate in code response and criticalcare management.

Provide care within an open ICU hospitalistmodel.

Accurately document and bill for criticalcare time.

Requirements

Board Certified in Internal Medicine orFamily Medicine with hospitalist experience.

Strong hospital medicine and critical careexperience.

Demonstrated competency with ICU admissions,code management, and critical care rounding.

Ability to independently stabilize andresuscitate critically ill patients.

Active Georgia medical licenserequired.

Active Georgia DEA required, withGeorgia listed on the registration.

Clean professional file required forconsideration.
