About the Position

A growing community hospital in Dublin, Georgia, is seeking an experienced Locums Hospitalist Physician for a nocturnist position. This is an on-site role requiring strong hospital medicine and critical care skills in an open ICU model.

Schedule & Coverage

· Nocturnist coverage: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

· On-site coverage, including nights and weekends

· No off-site call

· Ongoing need with an immediate start

Responsibilities

· Provide overnight hospitalist coverage and manage inpatient admissions.

· Manage ICU admissions and provide critical care rounding for up to 8 CCU patients.

· Independently assess and resuscitate critically ill patients before additional support arrives.

· Participate in code response and critical care management.

· Provide care within an open ICU hospitalist model.

· Accurately document and bill for critical care time.

Requirements

· Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with hospitalist experience.

· Strong hospital medicine and critical care experience.

· Demonstrated competency with ICU admissions, code management, and critical care rounding.

· Ability to independently stabilize and resuscitate critically ill patients.

· Active Georgia medical license required.

· Active Georgia DEA required, with Georgia listed on the registration.

· Clean professional file required for consideration.
