With a steadfast commitment to advancing medical technology, we take immense pride in the work we do – and have a lot of fun doing it.About This Opportunity:This opportunity will inspect incoming and outgoing material and components to ensure their compliance to specification.Responsibilities:Approves incoming material by conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor / primary lead.Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirm rework.Documents inspection results by completing reports/logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality databases.Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products.Use automated systems to perform complex testing.Follow all safety guidelines as stated by Vantedge MedicalRead and understand blueprints and basic geometric dimension tolerancing (Vantedge Medical will train)Any other duties delegated by managers as needed.Requirements:Cooperative, team-focused attitudeFamiliarity with quality testing machines and systemsAbility to lift 15 pounds regularlyAbility to stand/walk throughout entire shiftAbility to read blueprints (Vantedge Medical will train)Communicate / train others when neededAbility to inspect parts through use of manual inspection equipment (caliper, micrometer etc.), visual inspection, as well as programmed CMM equipment (Vantedge Medical will train)
