Mail Services Operations Specialist - Van Driver

IST Management Services is seeking a Mail Services Operations Specialist - Van Driver in the Princeton area! Ideal candidates will have an understanding of mail services, possess an excellent customer service mindset, are willing to train, and are ready to grow in their professional office services career! The position is a combination of driving a van, and delivering packages on campus. Operate mailing, copying, scanning, and reprographic equipment accurately and efficiently.

Hourly Compensation: $21.00-$22.00 USD

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Deliver mail and packages to designated mail stops across multiple buildings
• Drive company provided vehicles, including vans, a light box truck, and a large box truck
• Load and unload box trucks using manual and powered pallet jacks
• Experience operating larger vehicles is preferred
• Receive packages from couriers, scan inbound and outbound items, sort deliveries, and file packages for customer pickup
• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including lifting and transporting large bundles of mail, overnight packages, and paper shipments
• Operate mailing, copying, scanning, and reprographics equipment accurately and efficiently
• Provide a high level of customer service with a friendly, cooperative, and professional approach
• Follow established business procedures and site-specific guidelines consistently
• Take direction from the supervisor or site manager and communicate issues or delays promptly
• Participate in cross-training and perform additional tasks as assigned to support overall site operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Customer Service/ Hospitality/ Retail background preferred; Prior relevant mail services experience is a plus
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills; Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment; Competency in performing multiple functional tasks
• Ability to meet employer's attendance policy; A valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation to and from work
• Lifting up to 55 pounds
