• Assist with specimen retrieval and prepare samples for subsequent testing as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, facilitate the training of new staff or students, and maintain high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation mandates.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or related allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation eligibility.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Continued maintenance of current certification during employment.
