Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory tests across various disciplines-chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-while adhering to established protocols.
• Review results for precision, identify troubleshooting needs, and carry out maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment as necessary.
• Support specimen collection processes and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Document all operations meticulously, train new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a tidy, secure workplace while upholding regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree in allied health, accompanied by preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain an active certification throughout employment.
