Housing Services Case Manager (Floater) - PSH

Job Summary Penny Lane's Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) Program provides support services to chronically homeless individuals and helps residents maintain stable housing and achieve the highest level of self‑sufficiency and quality of life possible. The Case Manager will provide direct case management and support services to a caseload of 20 residents who were formerly chronically homeless. Responsibilities include assisting participants in obtaining additional services such as benefits, housing linkages, substance use disorder treatment, and mental health/health services; providing referrals and linkages to community resources; collaboratively developing housing stabilization plans and strategies that promote self‑sufficiency and safety; conducting apartment checks to ensure safety, cleanliness, and maintenance; and traveling to different housing projects in Antelope Valley, North Hills, and North Hollywood. Requirements Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as Social Work, Psychology, Education, Counseling, Criminology or Social Welfare, Child Development, or other relevant fields especially related to homelessness and vulnerable youth and/or social services. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working with vulnerable populations and at‑risk youth in a public or private child welfare social services setting and/or specific experience working with transition‑age youth and/or chronically homeless population. Bilingual Spanish Preferred (verbal and written skillset). Valid California driver’s license; current automobile insurance; clean driving record acceptable to the organization’s insurance company; immediate access to a vehicle during work hours. Position Details Location: North Hollywood (Primary), North Hills and Antelope Valley. Shift: Monday‑Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm. Salary Range: $23.74 – $33.77 per hour (determined based on educational background and verified years of paid, related experience). HS/AA: $23.74 up to $28.73 per hour BA: $24.96 up to $29.46 per hour MA: $28.61 up to $33.77 per hour Additional $2.00 per hour bilingual Spanish differential.
