Chief Financial Officer (CFO)We have been retained by a well-established, growth-oriented industrial products organization to identify a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as a strategic business partner to the Board of Directors, President, and executive leadership team. This role is responsible for leading all financial, accounting, compliance, and fiduciary functions while helping shape and execute the company’s long-term growth strategy.The CFO will play a central role in financial planning, capital allocation, performance management, and evaluating strategic growth opportunities, including M&A and business integrations.Why This Opportunity Stands OutDiversified, high-margin product portfolio with a best-in-class brand positionStrong, consistent cash flow and a solid financial foundation already in placeGrowth-focused organization with one major acquisition and continued expansion opportunities aheadWell-run organization with strong processes – a great setup to step into, not a turnaroundHighly collaborative leadership team with a well-regarded, people-first CEOOpportunity to partner closely with the Board and leadership to influence strategy and long-term value creationPosition OverviewThe CFO will oversee all aspects of finance and serve as a key advisor to leadership, driving financial discipline, strategic insight, and operational performance across the organization.Key Responsibilities of the CFOServe as a strategic business partner to the Board, President, and executive leadership team, driving performance and supporting the creation and execution of company strategyOversee all finance, accounting, tax, budgeting, capital planning, internal controls, compliance, legal/regulatory, and fiduciary functionsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including lenders, advisors, auditors, and banking partnersDesign and enhance financial tools, systems, and dashboards that deliver timely, actionable insights to leadership and the BoardAssess organizational performance against annual budgets and long-term strategic plans, identifying risks and opportunitiesLead near- and long-term budgeting, forecasting, working capital management, and capital expenditure planningEvaluate M&A opportunities, supporting diligence, deal execution, and post-acquisition integrationProvide accurate and timely financial reporting, including cash flow forecasting, to leadership, lenders, and the BoardEstablish, maintain, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) across the businessEnsure full compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and applicable regulatory requirementsMaintain strong internal control environments and coordinate all internal and external audit activitiesOptimize banking relationships and cash management strategies to support liquidity and growthLead, mentor, and evaluate the Controller and finance team, driving accountability, development, and performanceQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferredCPA or similar certification a plusIndustrial products or manufacturing industry experience requiredExperience working with a formal board and executive leadership structureBackground supporting owner-operated businessesExperience in private equity-backed environments, including rigorous financial reporting, KPI tracking, and transaction supportDemonstrated M&A, capital markets, and acquisition integration experienceProven ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership in a pragmatic, growth-oriented organizationCompensation: $200,000-$250,000 + bonus + equity
