About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be responsible for directing the accounting and finance department in line with sound business practices and generally accepted accounting principles. This includes overseeing the financial function, ensuring the timely production of financial reports, managing the annual budgeting process, and developing and enforcing policies and procedures for financial controls. The successful candidate will also be tasked with optimizing bank and deposit relationships, refining the finance department structure, and providing cost analysis for the company's services and products. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive financial leadership experience, with a strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in managing and developing accounting teams, as well as expertise in internal controls, compliance practices, and policy development. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance settings, and a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Advanced credentials such as a CPA or MBA are advantageous. The CFO will also be expected to build effective relationships with various stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and executives.
