From marketers and strategists to financial analysts and data engineers, and so much more, we're all passionate about crafting a world where children, families, and organizations can thrive.As a Payroll Specialist I, you'll play an integral role in supporting payroll processing in the Workday ERP, assisting employees with payroll-related questions and helping to identify opportunities to maximize efficiencies and contribute to meaningful payroll projects.Responsibilities:Help process biweekly and weekly payroll for 45,000 employees in WorkdayReview payroll data for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulationsSupport payroll processing activities including off-cycle payments, retroactive adjustments, and final pay calculationsAnswer payroll related questions in Service Now, email and Slack, providing professional and timely customer serviceMaintain confidentiality of employee payroll and personal information while adhering to data privacy standardsParticipate in Workday system testing, process improvements, and the implementation of new payroll functionality as needed, while documenting payroll procedures and maintaining accurate process documentationQualifications:1+ year experience with payroll processing requiredAbility to manage multiple priorities while meeting strict payroll deadlinesAbility to collaborate and provide support in a team environment while demonstrating strong communication and customer service skillsKnowledge of federal and state tax and wage and hour lawsStrong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsWorkday experience preferredOur benefits meet you where you are.
