Account Manager/Specialty Account Manager -KRYSTEXXA (Rare Disease) - Manchester, NH

Amgen seeks an Account Manager or Specialty Account Manager to represent KRYSTEXXA, a rare disease therapeutic, to physicians and healthcare professionals in the Manchester, NH territory. The role involves developing territory business plans, building customer relationships, managing reimbursement and payer issues, and achieving sales goals while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive territory business plans to achieve and exceed annual sales goals for KRYSTEXXA
• Promote KRYSTEXXA to physicians and healthcare professionals within approved labeling and regulatory guidelines
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding client needs and communicating with internal Amgen teams
• Serve as resource on payer policies, reimbursement regulations, Medicare/Medicaid rules, and compliance matters for accounts
• Report territory activity accurately, provide feedback to leadership on market changes, and attend medical congresses as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or hospital sales experience (or equivalent with Associate or high school diploma plus additional years)
• For Specialty Account Manager: Master's/Doctorate degree and 2-6+ years account management, sales, and commercial experience (depending on degree level)
• 2+ years sales experience in Rheumatology and/or Nephrology therapeutic areas (preferred)
• Buy and bill experience and biologic/biotech sales and reimbursement experience strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage territory within promotional and operational budgets
• Willingness to travel 20-30% including overnight and weekend commitments
