Account Manager/Specialty Account Manager, TAVNEOS - (Rare Disease) - Maine, NH, VT

Amgen seeks an Account Manager or Specialty Account Manager to represent TAVNEOS, a rare disease treatment, to physicians and healthcare professionals across Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont. The role involves territory management, disease education, relationship building, and coordinating cross-functional teams to drive product utilization and patient access.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory business plans to achieve sales objectives aligned with strategic account goals
• Educate healthcare professionals on disease state and TAVNEOS product information in compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Build and maintain relationships with physicians, nurses, infusion centers, case managers, and caregivers
• Coordinate with internal teams including MSLs, market access, and patient services to address access and reimbursement challenges
• Gather field insights and market intelligence to inform cross-functional strategy and resource deployment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience (Account Manager)
• Doctorate/Master's degree and 2-6 years account management or commercial experience (Specialty Account Manager)
• Rare or ultra-rare disease field experience preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in reimbursement navigation and patient access coordination
• Rheumatology and nephrology background strongly preferred
• Familiarity with infused therapies and buy-and-bill product models
