Apex Systems is seeking Associate and Experienced NonDestructive Test (NDT) Specialists to support the InService NDT team on first shift in Tukwila, WA . This position is officially titled MP&P Technical Analyst 3 and offers the opportunity to contribute to critical inspection and quality assurance activities in a technical manufacturing environment.

Compensation: $42/hr

Location: Tukwila, WA

Key Responsibilities

• Author and maintain NonDestructive Test (NDT) procedures .
• Incorporate revisions authored by Method Responsible Level III personnel through the standard procedure review process.
• Develop ComputerAssisted Drawings (CAD) for specialized calibration standards.
• Perform setup and configuration of nondestructive test and measurement equipment in accordance with calibration standards.
• Create detailed procedure figures illustrating inspection locations, geometry, accessibility constraints, probe/transducer placement, and notch signal response.
• Identify and report potential adverse trends or anomalous inspection results .

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of education or handson experience in NonDestructive Inspection (NDI) or NonDestructive Testing (NDT) .
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite .
• Ability to work variable shifts , overtime, and occasional weekends as needed.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Ability to work in confined spaces .

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 800 hours of Ultrasonic Testing (UT) experience.
• 300 hours of Ultrasonic ShearWave Testing experience.
• 800 hours of Eddy Current Testing (ET) experience.
• Experience using CAD software .
• Experience writing UT and ET techniques and inspection procedures .
