Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement a wide array of therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), ensuring clients feel supported and empowered throughout their healing process.

• Ensure accurate and confidential clinical documentation while adhering to HIPAA regulations, thereby reinforcing our commitment to professionalism and ethical care.

• Collaborate with a diverse multidisciplinary treatment team, which includes psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide comprehensive mental health care, enhancing the quality of service to our clients.

• Engage in regular peer consultations and case reviews. This practice fosters learning and ensures adherence to the most effective treatment modalities within our evolving field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with clients facing diverse mental health challenges including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related conditions. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your empathetic approach will help clients build resilience, hope, and strategies for effective coping.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• Strong foundation in solution-focused psychotherapy interventions, ideally with experience tailoring treatment plans to individual client needs.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating the establishment of strong therapeutic relationships with clients.
