Position Overview We are in search of a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to enhance a passionate network of imaging professionals committed to delivering top-notch care. With the latest ultrasound technology at your fingertips, you will perform essential diagnostic procedures, work alongside a collaborative team of medical experts, and help provide reassurance to patients through accurate and timely imaging. Responsibilities You'll Embrace
- Conduct diverse ultrasound assessments, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety by elucidating each procedure with compassion and clarity
- Engage closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate and diligently maintain imaging equipment, reporting any issues immediately
- Keep thorough documentation of all procedures while ensuring efficient patient record management within the electronic medical system
- Continuously stay updated on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Strong technical skills in sonographic imaging methods and patient positioning
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
