Role Description We're on the lookout for a dedicated Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become a vital part of our expanding team of imaging specialists who are committed to delivering outstanding care. You will utilize cutting-edge ultrasound equipment to conduct diagnostics, collaborate with a dynamic group of healthcare professionals, and bestow peace of mind onto patients through precise and timely imaging. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct an array of ultrasound assessments, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, articulating each phase with empathy and clarity
- Work hand-in-hand with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Effectively operate and maintain imaging apparatus, promptly reporting any issues
- Document procedures accurately and manage patient records in the electronic medical system
- Remain updated with ongoing advancements in ultrasound imaging practices and technologies
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related discipline
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is desirable
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent authority
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification favored
- Proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capable of operating independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework
- Comfortable performing in a fast-paced arena with a patient-centered focus
